"Adelheid" means noble, in german. What more fitting description could we use for this wonderful breed? Poodles excel in the conformation ring, agility, and are wonderful companions. Their intelligence and sensitivity to people are also implemented in their work as service and therapy dogs.
Originating in Germany, poodles were used to hunt waterfowl. Their "bracelets" kept their joints warm while in the water, hence the term "pudeln", which means to splash in the water.
We strive to produce beautiful healthy and versatile standard and miniature poodle puppies, while adhering to the AKC standard. All of our dogs have health testing in place and can be confirmed on the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals website. Our standard poodles are tested for NE, SA, Hips and Elbows, Cardiac, Thyroid, vWD, and CERF. The miniatures are tested for PRA-prcd, CERF, Patellas, Hips, Cardiac and Thyroid. Puppies are health guaranteed for three years.
